We are in this business and have been for a long time. We have been in the vacuum business for over 60 years. In order to continue to grow we want to sell more stuff. We are actively looking for other sales organizations on the internet willing to include our stable of products on their sites to offer their customers. We have most of the images for these fittings, not all, but most by far, some ugly ducklings we will come back on. We will upgrade some of these as time goes on. They are weighed, with dimensional characteristics and textually described and most other fields that would be populated in an online catalog. This includes our effort at meta tagging and search tagging.
In order to include the offering on your site, we just need a conversation with your data guru regarding what "template" they wish to populate and in what form they want the data, Excel is typical for the data side, JPG is our image format on the pictures. We simply need to know your desired image form and size. We would need a blank template of your e-commerce sites "field structure" along with an explanation or description of the field in question. The templates probably do not line up e-commerce platform to platform. We employ Big Commerce as our e-commerce platform here. They can handle bulk importation and large catalogs. The tech support is available all the time and is generally spot on.
We are open to customer branding of these fittings and can appropriately watermark the images with your site name or logo. We can also supply a blank slate of images/jpgs for you to have at it. We have close to 8,000 various images for these fittings now and the library still needs a massive re-organization from the result of all this work. We understand 3rd party transactions and how they are accomplished. We can ship on your paper. The images remain our intellectual property and are appropriately marked internally with copyrights not to be modified or removed. We would desire to engage in some minimalist legalese framework in order to protect our own intellectual assets and allow you use this program to go get more sales. This process is relatively low drag for the partners because the heavy lifting work is essentially already accomplished. You simply up load the images and import the spreadsheet data into your system using CSV textual format, Excel or whatever and assuming it all goes well you will quickly now have added 400+ SKUs to the offerings on your site. There will of course, I am guessing, be some issues with matching images uploaded to the database fields uploaded. This is a strange part of these types of selling platforms.
